What is PCN-KIDS?
A 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization focusing on providing grants and support to smart, financially challenged children, by helping them attain a secondary education.
When was PCN-KIDS incorporated?
PCN-KIDS was incorporated in November 2013 as a non-profit organization in the state of Georgia USA, but has been in existence informally from 2008 through the support of family and friends.
What is our Goal?
Our goal is to provide grants through the foundation to one hundred and twenty (120) students by 2020.
What is our Mission?
Providing gifted financially challenged kids the opportunity for a sustained education.
What does PCN Stand for?
The PCN abbreviation represents the words Preparing, Caring, and Nurturing, which are core themes for the foundation. PCN is also the initials of our Founder’s mother (Paulette Corrine Neufville) whose life inspired the formation of the PCN-KIDS foundation.
What services do we provide?
In addition to covering the expenses for tuition, books, uniform, lunch and transportation, the PCN-KIDS Foundation provides mentoring and encouragement to awardees.
Are donations taxes deductible?
Yes. Donations made to the PCN-KIDS Foundation are tax deductible.
What options are provided to donors?
Donors are provided with options to sponsor a child through a one-off donation or a multi-year commitment.
When can I make a donation?
Donations to the PCN-KIDS can be made at any point throughout the year.
How many new grants are awarded each year?
The number of new grants to be awarded each year is determined based on the availability of funding.
Why do you require my email address?
Your email address is required so we can send you a proper acknowledgement of your donation. Details of your donation are found in this email, which you can print or save for tax purposes.
Why only schools in Manchester (Jamaica, West Indies)?
The board of directors made a decision to establish the pilot program in Manchester (Jamaica, West Indies), given the strong relationships with academic institutions within the area.
Is there a plan to expand the program?
Yes. The Board of Directors will continue to review opportunities to expand the program based on funding, donor support and the interest and commitment of school principals.
Financial Information
Is my Personal and Financial Data Secure?
Yes. We use Bank of America merchant services and First Data card services, whom both comply with the US Online Banking standards.
Can I cancel or Get a Refund once a Donation is Given?
No. Due to our use of a third party service to process donations, all donations are final.
Is there a suggested minimum donation?
Yes. The suggested minimum donation is 25 dollars USD.
Why do we suggest a minimum donation of 25 dollars USD?
Since we are using a third party agent to process credit card donations, we don’t want donors’ well-intended gift to be offset by processing fees.
Can I make an automatic or recurring donation?
Yes. Donors may setup recurring monthly payments using PayPal Services.
Can I Donate Using a method other than the online Portal?
Yes – donation in the form of a certified check or money order may be mailed to the following address:

Do you Accept Mobile Payments?
We accept Mobile Payments during fundraisers through in-person authorization.
Will I receive a Year-end Statement?
Yes – You will receive an electronic statement in January of the year following the date of your donation (e.g. you will receive an electronic statement in January 2020 for a donation made in 2019).
Can I receive a hard-copy financial statement?
No. In order to minimize our administrative cost and overhead we utilize a green standard for processing financial statements.
Can I perform Fundraising on Behalf of PCN-KIDS?
A person must receive prior authorization from PCN-KIDS in order to act as a fundraising agent, as there are strict guidelines we must adhere to maintain our status as a non-profit organization. Please contact us to receive authorization and guidelines for conducting fundraising activities. We strongly believe in networking and the power of personal endorsement. So please recommend and refer family, friends and associates to be a part of our team.
PCN-KIDS Program
Why are awardees expected to be church members / active churchgoers?
Based on our Christian beliefs, we believe the church plays a pivotal role in the development of a child.
What roles do principals and guidance counselors have in the program?
Principals and guidance counselors play an integral role in the success of the program as they have an acute knowledge of each child and their circumstance.
Can I contact an Awardee?
Only PCN-KIDS approved mentors are authorized to contact and interact with awardees based on guidelines and standards prescribed by our general code of conduct policy.
Will I be able to see the Grades of Students and their Progression?
Grades Reporting will be provided at the summary/aggregate level. However, if you are an approved PCN-KIDS mentor, you will have greater visibility into the individual grades of your mentee.
How Many Children Have Benefited from the Program?
Since inception, ninety-five (95) children have benefited from the program. There are currently eighty-one (81) students in the program for the school year 2019/2020.
What is average cost of sponsoring a child for the school year?
Based on school year 2018/2019, the average cost of sponsoring a child for the program is 550 dollars USD.

PCN-KIDS, INC. recognizes the importance of protecting all the information we may collect from visitors to our site. PCN-KIDS, INC takes precautions to keep the user information disclosed to us secure, and such information will never be disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, control and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. PCN-KIDS, INC. uses Bank of America and First Data resources, which uses SSL encryption for all financial transactions to protect personal information.
If you provide an email address or other personal information (excluding financial information) when you visit our site, we may enter such information into one of our data bases so we can contact you to ask your input, provide information about our programs and events, and request donations. We may also share your information with you’re the students being sponsored upon your request and agreement to be used solely for the foregoing specified purposes. If you would like us to withhold your information from such an exchange, please contact us.
Who we share it with
PCN-KIDS, INC. will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with our entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf to complete the activities described above.

Some of our video presentation is provided by YouTube.com. It is labeled as such. According to the YouTube privacy policy, YouTube “may record information about your usage of the site, such as the channels, groups and favorites you subscribe to, which other users you communicate with, the videos you watch, the frequency and size of data transfers, and information you display about yourself as well as information you click on in YouTube (including UI elements, settings).
