PCN-KIDS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing grants and support to academically gifted, financially challenged children, helping them achieve a secondary education.
PCN represents the core values of Preparing, Caring, and Nurturing. It also honors the initials of our founder’s mother, Paulette Corrine Neufville, whose legacy inspired the creation of the PCN-KIDS Foundation.
We were founded in 2008, with a commitment to improving access to education for financially disadvantaged students.
Students from low-income families who demonstrate academic potential and commitment to their education are eligible to apply for support.
We offer scholarships, grants, mentorship programs, and educational resources that help students excel academically and develop life skills.
Students and schools are selected through an application process that considers academic merit, financial need, and the commitment of the student or institution to education.
We currently focus on supporting students in Jamaica primarily the parishes of Manchester, Clarendon, St Elizabeth and Kingston; but we are looking to expand to other areas as our funding and resources grow.
Our holistic approach combines financial assistance with mentorship and personal development support, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed both academically and in life.
General grade summaries and progress reports are provided at the aggregate level. If you are an approved PCN-KIDS mentor, you will receive more detailed insights into the academic performance of your assigned mentee.
You can donate through our website, by mail, or by setting up recurring donations via direct debit. We also accept donations in the form of stock and securities.
Yes, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records after making a donation.

Yes, we welcome donations of all sizes. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. However, there is a suggested minimum donation of $ 25 USD. Since we are using 3rd party agents to process credit card donations, we don’t want donors’ well-intended gifts to be offset by processing fees.
Yes, we partner with businesses and organizations that want to support our mission through corporate donations, matching gift programs, or event sponsorships.
Recurring donations can be set up easily through our website by selecting the “monthly donation” option when making your contribution.
For the 2024/2025 school year, the average cost of sponsoring a child was $650 USD, which covers expenses such as tuition, books, uniforms, and transportation.
We maintain strict financial controls and transparency, ensuring that the majority of donations go directly to educational programs. Our annual reports are available for review.
You can find our financial reports and impact statements on our website under the “About Us” section or by contacting our office for a copy.
We track the academic progress of our students, monitor graduation rates, and gather feedback from both students and mentors to continuously improve our programs.
Approximately 92% of donations are allocated directly to educational programs, with the remaining amount covering necessary administrative and operational costs.
Yes, we welcome volunteers to assist with mentorship, event planning, fundraising, and administrative tasks.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, including tutoring, mentoring students, helping with events, and supporting our administrative team.
